Three experienced pack llamas with packs halters for sale. We do not want to split them up, they must all go together. They need to go to a home where they will be used. We don't pack with them anymore, and they are too good to be pasture potatoes. We are selling the three for $1500.00 including all needed tack.

We will need to meet with purchaser(s) and vet the condition, use , and personality of the new owners.

Llamas cannot be sold like carrots or stereos. They have served us well and deserve the best. They have packed for us for the past 15 years. They are the perfect helpers, if you like to camp with little children or you are old enough to realize that backpacks are over rated! Or anywhere inbetween.

Our packs; Petey uses a wooden sawbuck, the others use aluminum sawbucks from Idaho Llama Gear, we have two sets of open gear panniers and three sets of closed panniers.

Milo is intact, with his qualities we considered breeding him, more Milos in the llama world would be a great thing. He likes to be the last in the string so he can watch everyone.
Petey, is Milos half brother, he is 18 or 19 years old. He is the lead llama, he follows anywhere, nicely.

Que Si, is about the same age and is second in the string, although small, he is strong, and capable, he is also highly inquisitive, if he had opposable thumbs he could not be kept in a corral.

Even the little ones can safely lead the "boys" This little girl is graduating high school this year, the llamas have taught her a lot about caring, and fun.
Out in Crabtree Meadow in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The girls and the boys out on the trail.
All of us and the packed llamas, first day of a 50 miler in the Sierra.

Lunch high in the Toiyabe Range above Reese River Valley in the center of Nevada. John Muir's book on Nevada is titled, Steep Trails, and he was right.
Putting the sawbuck/decker cross on Petey in the early AM

Llamas are pretty good in the snow too, where a horse would punch through, the llamas feet spread into snow shoes.
