For Sale, a 1973ish Clipper Marine 26,
The Annie Laurie
I am asking $4,000 with trailer, and $3,000 without .
Now, before we get started lets all remember two things.
The boat is what it is, and it ain't what it ain't.

It is a relatively lightweight trailerable pop top sailboat with a swing keel. It was designed for lakes, not for the open ocean, it is not a Catalina, it is not a Pacific Seacraft.

We have used it in the Sea of Cortez and at Lake Tahoe and greatly enjoyed sailing it . I have modified my hobbies, and no longer need a boat of this size, so we are selling it.

It has a 9.9 Horse Yamaha  4 stroke, you don't need more power, you would just push against the theoretical hull speed.

There are  two jibs, a standard and a storm jib, plus mainsail

There is sleeping room for two couples, or  a couple and three children, the dinette table folds down for sleeping.

It does not have a porti potti, we gave up on those as no one wants to dump it, we use a Wag system (not included, but cheap at Walmart) http://www.gocleanwaste.com/

There is a 12v igloo thermoelectric fridge, sink with hand pump, we put a blue 7 gal jug from Walmart in the cupboard beneath the sink. The sink drains directly overboard.

It is set up with 12v interior and running lights.

I installed three extra hatches in the cockpit benches for storage. When we launched in March of 2002 at Bahia De Los Angles on the Sea of Cortez we had food for two months, 15 gallons of gas and 27 gallons of water aboard. The boat stored all this stuff nicely. Many of the modern boats of this size are roomy and open below decks but without much stowage space, this boat has stowage space.

We lower the poptop while underway, and raise it at anchor, that gives over 6 feet of head room in the main salon/galley, there is a fabric snap in tent, that would give protection in inclement weather, we have never used it.

Ther is a fore berth, in the focsle with plenty of sleeping room for two, and netted shelves along each side for personal gear.

I have had the boat rigged for solar power, it is not in at this time. There is space for two marine R/V batteries, plenty of power for a few days.

The boat has a swing keel, we often swing the keel up and pull the stern to shore med style.

I am going to put some photos below, the purpose of a boat is to have fun, we have had a lot of fun and seen some great places.

The girls were young while we sailed in Mexico, but would not have given up the trip for anything.

Look through these photos, whether you sail Nacimiento, or San Luis Bay, or head to Tahoe, or have an adventure like ours in Mexico, this boat will get you there and back, we know, we have been there, and back, aboard the Annie Laurie!

This is the flush deck model.

Sailing on Tahoe, not the Yamha outboard, the solar panel on the safety bars, which I installed.
At anchor on Tahoe, fore hatch is shown, and poptop is up. The life lines are perlon, and will need to be replaced with perlon or wire.  The stanchions are bombproof.
Underway on engine, pop top up,
At anchor in Bahia Escondido in Baja California .
Our adventure in Mexico was done as an interactive project with our school district back home, we explored the science, history and culture of the sea and land, and uploaded our findings to an interactive website for the students, and,, it was great excuse to have an adventure.

Into every adventure, a grand party should intrude, Loreto Fest, sort of stumbled onto this party, dozens of yachts gather here every year for a party and to raise money for the local kids.

Watching out for Whales, or Dolphins, or Mantas!
